Animals in Iraq

"It was puppy love at first sight Saturday for two military families adopting dogs evacuated from Iraq.

The wife of one U.S. soldier and the sister of another were given dogs rescued overseas by their loved ones and flown to John F. Kennedy Airport by the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

The two women greeted the dogs at JFK yesterday afternoon. The women cried when they saw the animals, who were playful and looked healthy despite what they had endured." Story from NYdailynews

Have you guys heard about the Dogs, and other animals that soldiers have adopted in Iraq. Do you think this is a good thing to do?
